Biography

2002-03 (Senior): Tallied a 12-14 overall mark and 10-12 dual mark in singles...won her final three matches of the season...went 5-8 at the No. 2 postion and 5-4 at No. 3...went 11-10 in doubles during dual matches, including an 11-6 mark with Mio Fukushima...teamed with Fukushima for an 8-2 record in the No. 3 position, including a perfect 4-0 mark in Western Athletic Conference play.

2001-02 (Junior):
Posted a 5-18 mark in singles play...tied with teammate Lauren Fitzgerald for the most matches played in the season (23)...was 5-12 in doubles action.

2000-01 (Sophomore):
Finished the season with an overall singles record of 14-9 and was 1-1 in the WAC…posted a 13-14 overall doubles record…recogniszd as a UH scholar-athlete.
 
1999-00 (Freshman): Posted an impressive 18-10 record...had an eight-game win streak ...defeated Elisa Bjorklund of UTEP at the WAC Championships ...played with Nina Wenger to finish with a 13-8 doubles record...paired with two other Wahine teams that went 1-2 overall in doubles competition. 

Prep:
A 1999 graduate of Leilehua High School...earned four letters in tennis...was named all-state tennis MVP...coached by Vanne Akagi-Bustin.

Personal:
Born Nov. 29, 1981...has one brother...parents are Sandy and Michael Hakikawa of Wahiawa, Oahu.
