Biography

2005-06 (Senior): Named to the all-WAC singles second team and doubles second team...finished his career with 66 singles victories, which ranks 10th in school history...had a career-best 21 singles victories, including a 13-2 dual match record...was 11-2 at No. 3 and 2-0 at No. 2...went 5-1 in three-set matches...won 12 of 13 dual matches from Jan. 23 through April 1...named WAC player of the month for November after qualifying for the main draw of the USTA's Honolulu Futures pro tournament...selected WAC player of the week (April 3)...teamed with Jarrod Diepraam for a 13-10 doubles record...finished his career with 48 doubles wins, which ranks 10th in UH history.

2004-05 (Junior): Accumulated a career-high 17 singles victories...finished second on the team in singles wins...was named WAC Player of the Week (Feb. 23) after winning both of his matches against No. 41 Oklahoma and No. 72 UNLV...won 10 consecutive matches from Feb. 5 to Marc 23...ended the year by winning 13 of 14 matches at the No. 3 court...was a perfect 4-0 in 3-set matches..teamed with two different partners for a 11-11 doubles record..partnered with Jarrod Diepraam for a 6-6 mark in dual matches, primarily at the No. 2 court.

2003-04 (Sophomore): Recorded a team-best 14 overall singles victories...finished singles play with a 14-11 record and 13-8 dual match mark...played primarily at the No. 2 court but occassionly moved into the top spot...was 9-5 at the No. 2 court...won nine of 11 singles match during one stretch...pulled out a marathon 17-15 super-tiebreak victory over Jiri Spousta of Southwest Missouri State...posted a 12-13 record in doubles competition...paired with Dalibor Ptak for a 12-10 overall mark, including a 12-8 record at the No. 1 court.

2002-03 (Freshman): Finished the season with an overall singles record of 14-9...recorded a 7-2 mark in the No. 5 singles position...ended the year at No. 1, where he was 6-6...posted a 12-11 record in doubles action at the No. 2 court with partner Jarrod Diepraam.

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Applecross High School in Perth, Western Australia...lettered in tennis...was a member of a team from Applecross which won a national tournament in his senior year... named the school's tennis player of the year for four years...respresented Australia in the Transtansman Cup in 2000.

Personal: Born in Perth, Western Australia...majoring in Communications...has one younger sister...parents are Jenny and Steve Sceats of Perth, Western Australia.
