Older brother Deitrich swam four years for the University of Hawai‘i men's swim team. where he earned all-MPSF honors and in 2025 as a senior earned gold medals in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay at the Big West Championships
Older brother Haakon Meyer swam for King University in Tennessee
Parents are Amy Lawton Meyer of Silverdale, Wash. and Derek Meyer of Edmonds, Wash.
