Senior (2019):
  • Missed the first six matches of the season due to injury, but appeared in the last 24 matches of the season with 23 starts at outside hitter
  • Recorded career-highs across the board for the season with 201 kills, 141 digs, 27 blocks and nine assists.
  • Posted a career-high 14 kills twice in her senior season—once at CSUN (9/28/19) and in the NCAA First Round against Northern Colorado (12/6/19)
  • Her 37 attacks against UC Santa Barbara (11/1/19) was a career-high
  • Ross’ .688 hitting percentage at UC Riverside was a career-high
  • Recorded 11 double-digit kill matches and two double-digit dig matches as a senior

  • Twice posted double-digit digs--10 at Cal State Fullerton (10/20/18) and a season-high 11 digs at Pepperdine (11/6/18).

2017 (Sophomore):
  • Appeared in 25 matches with 77 sets played and one start in UH’s opener vs. Marquette (8/25)
  • Saw action both as an outside hitter and as serving/defensive specialist
  • Recorded a career-high 10 kills and hit a season-high hitting percentage of .348 (10-2-23) against Northern Arizona (9/16)
  • Came off the bench to spark UH against Illinois in the NCAA first round match in Seattle, Wash. (12/1) she buried nine kills and had a career-high 13 digs against the Fighting Illini
  • Posted double-digit digs in three matches this season against Illinois (12/1), UC Davis (9/23) and at Cal Poly (10/27)
  • For the season, tallied career-highs of 46 kills, seven service aces, 108 digs and 9.0 total blocks.

2016 (Freshman): 
  • Appeared in 14 matches
  • Recorded 14 kills, 13 digs and two blocks in her rookie season
  • Helped to spark UH’s five-set win over Arizona with seven kills in 14 attempts (.429 attack percentage) with five digs—all career-highs
  • Recorded a block at UC Riverside (10/28/16) and vs. UC Riverside in Honolulu (10/2/16)\
  • Earned UH Manoa Scholar-Athlete honors.

Prep: 
  • A 2016 graduate of Aliso Niguel High School in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
  • Earned three varsity letters in indoor volleyball
  • Helped to lead the Wolverines to a 2014 state championship
  • Earned second team all-league honors as a sophomore and junior and was named a first team all-league player as a senior

  • Older sister Kyla won a gold medal at both the artistic gymnastics team competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the 2014 World Gymnastic Championships in Nanning, China
  • Parents are Jason and Kiana Ross of Aliso Viejo, Calif.
  • Father Jason played both football (1993-94) and baseball (1994-96) at the Univeristy of Hawai‘i, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 13th round of the 1996 MLB Draft and played in the Braves’ farm system from 1996-2001 finishing his career with the Triple A Richmond Braves of the International League.
  • Her aunt, Nohea Tano Laboy  played three seasons at middle blocker/outside hitter for the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team (2001-03)
