Prior to UH (2014-15): Spent two years at Cañada College in Redwood, Calif
-Was a member of the college's Dean's List
-Earned her Associate's Degree in anthropology. 

Prep: A 2013 graduate of Cañada Middle College in Redwood, Calif
-Played two seasons on the tennis team
-In 2010 helped lead Cañada to the league tennis team championship and was the WBAL doubles champion.

-Born in Palo Alto, Calif., but hometown is Strömstad, Sweden
-Majoring in kinesiology and rehabilitation science (KRS)
-Is a member of the UH Pre-Veterinary club
-Has three sisters and one brother
-Parents are Felicia and J. Herschel Shermis of Atherton, Calif.
