HONOLULU — The sixth-ranked University of Hawai'i women's water polo team clinched its third consecutive Big West regular-season championship with a 20-2 rout of Cal State Fullerton on Friday at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

Asimina Klapsianou scored three goals in the first half and sophomore
Gabrielle Doyle and senior
Raha Peiravani also posted hat tricks and the Rainbow Wahine (13-5, 6-0 Big West) completed an undefeated run through the conference's regular-season schedule for the third straight season.

Evelyn Miller were honored following the match in the Senior Night ceremony.
UH claimed the Big West regular-season title for the eighth time since joining the conference in 2013 and for the fifth time in the last six seasons. The 'Bows have won 26 consecutive Big West matches and the run of three straight regular-season titles is the longest in program history. UC Irvine owns the conference's longest streak of regular-season championships with five straight from 2011 to '15. UH is 63-11 overall in Big West matches and 32-1 since 2022.
The Rainbow Wahine took command early in Saturday's match as eight players contributed to an 11-0 lead going into halftime. Klapsianou scored UH's first two goals and completed her first career hat trick at the 1:19 mark of the second quarter.
Cal State Fullerton broke through with 6:19 left in the third quarter. UH scored the final seven goals of the night and finished the game will all seven seniors in the pool. Radosavljevic scoring at the 2:00 mark and Peiravani punctuated the win with her third goal.
UH has won the last two Big West Championship titles and will seek to defend the title next week. The 2026 Big West Women's Water Polo Championship is set for April 10-12 at the Ken Lindgren Aquatics Center in Long Beach, Calif. The tournament champion earns the conference's automatic bid to the National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championships (April 24-26, La Jolla, Calif.).
