SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—Four members of the University of Hawai'i men's tennis team will be heading to UC Santa Barbara's campus to compete in the 2025 Big West Fall Invite from Thursday, Oct. 2 – Sunday, Oct. 5 at the Arnhold Tennis Center.

Timothy Li,
Kent Mueller,
Kosuke Nakanishi and
Azuma Visaya will be representing the Rainbow Warriors in the tourney. They will all compete in singles while Li/Visaya and Mueller/Nakanishi will pair up for doubles.
Visaya, who played exclusively at No. 1 for the Warriors last season, is ranked at No. 65 and is the lone UH returners on this roadtrip. Last year, Visaya posted a 7-10 singles record in the spring while going 8-9 at No. 1 doubles with partners
Tianhao Hou and
Quinn Snyder. Joining Visaya is fellow senior and UCLA transfer Li. Last week, Li and Visaya notched a win in the ITA All-America pre-qualifying doubles consolation match in Tulsa, Okla, Both competed in the All-American tourney in singles as well.
Mueller is a highly touted freshman from Germany, while Nakanishi is a junior transfer from Louisville. Nakanishi recorded a career singles record of 22-27 and a doubles mark of 15-27 as a Cardinal. Both will be making their Rainbow Warrior debus this weekend.
The singles and doubles winners of the Big West Fall Invite will get an automatic bid into the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Conference Masters event, which is one of four events to qualify for the NCAA Championships. The Top 4 singles and Top 3 doubles teams from the ITA Conference Masters tourney will advance to the NCAA Championships which will be held in Orlando, Fla. beginning on Nov. 18
