The University of Hawai'i women's swimming and diving team was one of 763 teams to be named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2025 semester on Thursday. Additionally, six 'Bows garnered individual awards, earning CSCAA Spring Team Scholar All-America honors.

The Rainbow Wahine, consisting of 29 student-athletes, achieved a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.43. To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, praised the honorees, "These teams exemplify what it means to be true student-athletes. Their dedication to academic excellence, alongside their athletic commitments, is both impressive and inspiring. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate their hard work and achievement."

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.

The Rainbow Wahine also earned CSCAA Academic All-America honors for the Fall 2024 semester with a team GPA of 3.39.

Four Rainbow Wahine—Avery Coates, Catherine Belyakov, Holly Nelson, and Macie Wheeler—were named to the CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team, along with Rainbow Warriors Juan Esteban Ramirez Tamayo and Tom Caps.

To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
