Men's Tennis Begins Final Homestand Against UC Irvine

HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team (3-14, 0-3 Big West) returns to begin their final homestand of the 2025 season. The Rainbow Warriors will take on No. 43 UC Irvine (10-4, 0-0 Big West) on Saturday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m. HT at the UH Tennis Complex.

  HAWAI'I RAINBOW WARRIORS (3-14, 0-2 Big West)University of Hawaii Logo• The Rainbow Warriors return to Honolulu after playing seven-straight road matches since Feb. 22. Last week, the Warriors fell at Saint Mary's (CA), 2-4 and lost at Cal Poly 0-4.
• Hawai'i returns home to begin their final three-match homestand beginning with UC Irvine this Saturday. UH is looking to snap its seven-match losing streak
• Senior Quinn Snyder continues to dominate, extending his undefeated win streak to 11-0 with his straight-set victory at Saint Mary's (CA) last week. (His match at Cal Poly went unfinished)
• 107th-ranked Azuma Visaya enters this week with a 5-8 overall record and is looking to snap his five-match losing streak.
• The UH doubles team of Andy Hernandez and Snyder enter the week with a team0beset 6-2 record, but Snyder and Visaya have played the last two matches together.

Team notes: The Eagles have four players with a win under their singles belts. Tyler Waddock is 1-4 in dual matches all at No. 1. Ashjot Bhatti and Caden Kammerer both enter the week at 1-4 while Drew Dillon is 1-5.
• 58th-ranked Noah Zamora leads the 'Eaters with a 14-8 singles record. He is 6-4 dual match record. In total, four Anteaters have recorded double-digit singles wins--Sohrob Amiryavari (10-8), Rithvik Krishna (13-8), Andy Nguyen (13-4) and Zamora.
• In doubles, the UCI duo of 82nd-ranked Nguyen and Zamora enter this week with a team0best 6-3 overall record.
