TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team completed the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate in 13
th place following a final round 305 Tuesday at the Tucson Country Club.
The Rainbow Warriors finished with a 54-hole total of 922. Host Arizona edged out Long Beach State by one stroke to win the team title. The 25
th-ranked Wildcats finished at 867 while No. 29 Beach totaled 868.
Tyler Ogawa was UH's top finisher at 13-over 229 after a final round 76 to tie for 46
th place.
Nathan Szpakowicz posted the best round of the day at even par 72 to finish at 230 and a tie for 50
th place.
Utah's Brandon Robison captured medalist honors at 5-under 211, one streak ahead of runner-up Max Schliesing of UTEP.
Also competing for the Rainbow Warriors were

Josh Hayashida (75=244, 74
th).
Garrett Takeuchi competed as an individual and tied for 69
th at 239.
Hawai'i will next compete in the Western Intercollegiate, April 14-16 in Santa Cruz, Ariz.
