— The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team concludes a six-game homestand when it hosts Cal Poly in a Big West matchup on Saturday, Jan. 4. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the SimpliFi Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Rainbow Warriors (8-5) are coming off a close 64-61 loss to UC Santa Barbara on Thursday night to drop to 0-2 in conference. The Mustangs (6-9, 0-3) are also seeking their first conference win of the year after falling at home on Thursday to UC Irvine, 98-89, in overtime.

- UH has defeated the Mustangs eight straight times and has won 10 straight in Honolulu.
