Men's and Women's Dive Teams Conclude Day One of Cal Invitational

BERKELEY, Calif. — The University of Hawai'i men's and women's dive teams competed in the inaugural Cal Invitational at the Legends Aquatic Center in Berkeley, Calif. on Thursday.

Ruby Pickron led the way for the Rainbow Wahine placing ninth in the preliminary round of the 3-meter dive posting a mark of 262.70. Pickron qualified for the 3-meter final where she finished in 12th with a score of 230.25.

Juan Esteban Ramirez Tamayo secured the highest placement for the Rainbow Warriors, finishing 17th in the 3-meter dive tallying a score of 256.90.

The Rainbow Wahine and Rainbow Warriors resume action at the Cal Invitational tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. HT (11:00 a.m. PT) with the women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter dive.
