Women's Volleyball 05.07.2024 2023 Women's Volleyball Season Review SEASON HIGHLIGHTS UH claimed its 12th Big West title and the program’s 27th conference title overall. The Rainbow Wahine have won four consecutive titles under head coach Robyn Ah Mow. The ‘Bows advanced to their 30th straight and 41st overall NCAA Tournament. UH defeated seventh-seeded Iowa State in the Round of 64 before falling to host Oregon to finish the season 24-9 overall and 14-4 Big West record. The team finished the season leading the Big West with 17.48 points per set, 13.09 assists per set, 1532 total assists, 13.91 kills per set, 1627 total kills and 15.46 digs per set. Six Rainbow Wahine earned all-Big West honors - Amber Igiede (first team), Kennedi Evans (second team) and Kate Lang (second team), Caylen Alexander (honorable mention), Paula Guersching (honorable mention) and Tali Hakas (freshman team) Igiede earned third team AVCA All-American and AVCA North Pacific All-Region honors after leading the Big West with a career-high 435 kills. She was also the Big West leader in kill/set (3.72), hitting percentage (.396), points (540.0) and points/set (4.62). UH alumnae and three-time Olympic teammates Ah Mow and Heather Bown were inducted into the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame.
