HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (8-10, 5-2 Big West) returns to host their final home game of the season against UC Riversdide (4-16, 0-5 Big West). It will be women's tennis' "Show UHM Your Aloha Senior Day "for two Rainbow Wahine - Anna Kern and Kaitlyn Ralar on Wednesday, April 10th at 2:30 p.m. HT at the UH Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Wahine are looking to bounce back after sufferering their first two conference losses last week on the road, snapping its streak of 13-straight Big West wins since falling to UC Davis on the road in 2023. Hawai'i has a 13-conference home match win-streak on the line this week. Their last BW home loss cam in 2021 on April 3 to UC Santa Barbara (2-5).

• Currently, the Rainbow Wahine are in third place with a 5-2 conference record. The 'Bows are behind league-leader UC Santa Barbara who is in first place with a 3-0 conference mark and an 8-7 overall and CSUN who is 4-1 in the Big West with an overall record of 10-5.Hawai'i is just a game ahead of Long Beach State who has a 4-2 Big West record coming into the week.
• With just two conference dual matches left in the regular season, Hawai'i is looking to finish the regular season strong beginning with this wee's opponent UC Riverside before they begin defense of their 2023 Big West championship title.
• Junior Nikola Homolkova continues to lead UH with a 10-5 record overall record playing all her matches at No. 3 . 
• Rookie Nelly Knezkova and junior Ana Vilcek have shared their time at the top of the lineup. Knezkova is 4-2 when playing at No. 1 and 5-3 at No. 2, where as Vilcek is 4-4 on the No. 1 court and 3-1 at No. 2.
• Doubles troubles - UH has won the doubles point in just two dual matches this season--against Sacramento State (1/18/2024) and at UC San Diego (2/12/2024)
• Cardiac Kids - UH has won seven of their eight dual matches by one point, 4-3. UH's other win was a 7-0 sweep at UC San Diego on Feb. 12, 2024.
