IRVINE, Calif.--University of Hawai'i men's tennis player
Quinn Snyder recorded a Top-50 singles win over conference rival UC Santa Barbara en route to earning his second Big West Men's Tennis Player of the Week award. Snyder went 2-0 at No. 1 singles this past week to snag the conference's weekly award.
Snyder, a Titusville, Fla. product, began the week by defeating the 46th-ranked -and- the only ranked Big West player, Pablo Masjoan of UC Santa Barbara in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Two days later, the UCF transfer swept Noah Berry of Cal Poly, 6-3, 6-4 on Court #1 to wrap up the week. Currently, Hawai'i looks to tune up heading into the 2024 Big West Men's Tennis Championship at the end of the month with a record of 5-12, 0-3 BW.
