CHULA VISTA, Calif. – University of Hawai'i men's golfers Blaze Akana and Josh Hayashida are both 1-under after 36 holes of the RE Lamkin Invitational Monday at the San Diego Country Club.
 
The pair are tied for 32^nd place with a 143 total. Akana carded a 2-under 70 in his opening round while Hayashida went 3-under 69 in Round 2.
 
As a team, the Rainbow Warriors are in 14^th place at 582. Colorado and Fresno State share the lead the team standings at 558 followed by co-host San Diego (559) and Loyola Marymount (559).
 
San Diego's Craig Ronne holds the clubhouse lead at 9-under 135 after rounds of 70 and 65. LMU's Mason Snyder is one stroke back.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Warriors are Isaiah Kanno (72-74=146/t-51^st), Kolbe Irei (71-79=150/t-76^th), and Dane Watanabe (76-81=157/t-89^th).
 
The tournament wraps up with the third and final round on Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT off holes No. 1 and No. 10.
