Important Parking Information For This Weekend's Events

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Athletics Department is anticipating heavy traffic and large crowds for another busy and exciting weekend of sporting events. UH Athletics is hosting the OUTRIGGER Big West Men's Volleyball Championship this week in addition to a three-game baseball series against Cal Poly, Friday - Sunday, and a three-game softball series against CSU Bakersfield, Friday and Saturday.

All three sports will be competing on Friday night at approximately the same time. On Saturday night, the championship match of the volleyball tournament and the baseball game will start at 6:30 p.m, and 7:00 p.m., respectively.

The UH Mānoa Commuter Services department is encouraging fans attending to:
  • Arrive early and allow extra transit time.
  • Utilize the Waialae gate into lower campus in addition to the Dole street entrance and the (eastbound) H1-University exit.
  • Use alternate parking zones on upper campus.

Main Parking Structure (Zone 20):

  • Men's Volleyball Reserved Parking Passes - Since this is a Big West tournament (non UH event), all reserved passes will require a $7 payment at the entry gates (card preferred) with parking available in assigned areas.  Zone 20 Green Lot may reach capacity when events occur simultaneously.  If this occurs, Green Lot pass holders will be directed to park in the adjacent White Lot.
  • Baseball Reserved Parking Passes - All reserved passes will be valid for entry and parking in assigned areas.  Zone 20 Green Lot may reach capacity when events occur simultaneously.  If this occurs, Green Lot pass holders will be directed to park in the adjacent White Lot.
  • General Parking - General parking will be available in the Zone 20 structure. Parking may be purchased on event day at Dole St. or Waialae Ave. entry gates for $7 per vehicle. Card preferred.

Alternate Parking - Upper Campus:
There are two entry gates into Upper Campus; Maile Way and East West Road. Parking may be purchased at the kiosks upon entry for $7 on game day. Please follow all parking guards and staff directions as they assist in directing fans to Upper Campus lots.

Ride Share & Drop-Off:
For those using ride-share options to campus, drop-off and pick-up is located on Lower Campus Road in front of the Center for Disability Studies (across from the Stan Sheriff Center) via the Dole St. or Waialae Ave. gates. Ride share is highly encouraged due to limited parking.
