- The Rainbow Wahine have played a tough schedule thus far--beginning the season hosting the Weinman Foundation Invitational with Cal, Florida State and NC State, who are all curretnly ranked in the ITA. UH has squared off in dual matches with five ranked teams as well--#24 Washington, San Diego State who is currently #73, #16 San Diego, #2 Michigan, #10 California and #9 Southern California
- Receiving her second-straight Big West Player of the Week award on Wednesday was true freshman Nelly Knezkova who clinched a 4-3 win over San Jose State to start last week. She then upset 38th-ranked Hannah Viller-Moeller from 10th-ranked Cal in straight sets.
- This is the fourth BW Weekly award given to a Rainbow Wahine this season--Ana Vilcek (Jan. 17), Nikola Homolkova (March 5), and Knezkova (March 20, 27)
- With the non-conference opponents in the rear-view mirror now, Hawai'i can focus on only conference matches ahead--beginning with the Aggies this Saturday.
