HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (5-5, 4-0 Big West) will host the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational from Wednesday, March 13-Saturday, March 16 at the UH Tennis Complex. The Illinois State Redbirds (9-3, 0-0 Missouri Valley) and Pacific (4-4, 0-1 West Coast) will be making their way to Honolulu for UH's final non-conference tourney of the season.

NET NOTES
- The Rainbow Wahine return to action hosting the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational after 10 days off
- UH started this homestand edging out Big West rivals Cal State Fullerton, 4-3 and Long Beach State, 4-3. Between the two BW matches, Hawai'i fell to No.2 Michigan, 1-4. In the loss, UH's No. 3 Nikola Homolkova knocked off 46th-ranked Gala Mesochoritou in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
- For her efforts against CSF, UofM and LBSU, Homolkova was named Big West Player of the week after posting a 5-of-6 combined singles and doubles record (3-0 in singles, 2-1 in doubles.) It was her second career weekly honor.
- True freshman Hannah Galindo has moved up in the ladder recently and has played well. She won her match at No. 5 vs. Cal State Fullerton and then playing at No. 4 against 107th ranked Jaedan Brown of Michigan, her match went unfinished, but she was leading the second by a break at 5-3 when the match was decided. Playing at No. 4 against Long Beach State, she dispatched Justine Dondonay, 6-2, 6-2 to help UH defeat The Beach, 4-3.
