MORAGA, Calif.--In a rematch from last week's Golden State Invitational, the University of Hawai'i men's tennis team faced off against St. Mary's (CA) on the road in a dual match at the Timothy Korth Tennis Center on Monday. Although UH kept things close, the Gaels swept UH, 4-0

St. Mary's opened the match by winning the doubles point with victories on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts with Carlos Ramos Membrives and Ellison Greco defeating UH's Guillaume Tattevin and Sohta Urano at No. 3, 6-3. On the No. 1 court, Andy Hernandez and Karl Collins came up short against Diego Jarry and Thibaud Maxant, 7-5 to give SMC a 1-0 lead.

The Gaels then won the next three singles matches for the sweep. At No. 5, Pierre Lieutaud defeated Sohta Urano, 6-0, 6-2 and SMC's Maxant followed with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Karl Collins on the No. 4 court. No. 3 Paulo Hugo Etcheccoin then sealed the St. Mary's sweep with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over UH's Tattevin.

The Rainbow Warriors will concluded the roadtrip on Tuesday as they take on San Francisco (4-5) at 8:00 a.m. HT at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif.
