KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team wrapped up play at the Pac-12 Preview Wednesday at the Nanea Golf Club. The Rainbow Wahine carded a final round 329 to finish with a 973 total and 12
th place.
UCLA captured the team title with a 865 total while UCLA's Zoe Campos took medalist honors at 8-under 211, one stroke ahead of USC's Amari Avery and Stanford's Paula Martin Sampedro.
UH's top finisher was
Kellie Yamane who tied for 49
th with a 236 total after finishing with a final round 83.
Emiko Sverduk posted 82 for a 243 total and 56
th place.
Jordyn Parr recorded the best round of the day for the Rainbow Wahine with a 78 and finished in 57
th place at 245.
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine were
Wendy Song (86=249) and
Monica Johnson, the latter of whom was forced to withdraw after three holes.
The Rainbow Wahine will next compete in The Causeway Invitational, Feb. 26-27 in Sacramento, Calif.
