Yamane Holding Steady At Pac-12 Preview

KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – University of Hawai'i junior Kellie Yamane fired a 3-over 76 in the second round of the Pac-12 Preview Tuesday at the Nanea Golf Club.
 
The 'Aiea, O'ahu native is 7-over for the tournament and is UH's top individual at 41st place. Yamane posted two birdies and five bogeys on her round.
 
As a team, the Rainbow Wahine posted 328 and are in 12th place with a 644 total. UCLA and Stanford share the team lead at 577 while USC is one stroke back. Individually, Stanford's Paula Martin Sampedro leads the tournament at 7-under 139 while teammate Sadie Englemann is one stroke back.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are Emiko Sverduk (81=161, t-53rd), Wendy Song (86=163, 56th), Jordyn Parr (85=167, 58th), and Monica Johnson (94=183, 60th).
 
The tournament concludes on Wednesday with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start.
