Women’s Golf Completes First Round of Pac-12 Preview

KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team completed Round 1 of the Pac-12 Preview with a 316 Monday at the Nanea Golf Club.
 
The Rainbow Wahine currently sit in 12th place. Arizona and USC share the lead in the team standings at 282 followed by Washington (287), Stanford (288), and UCLA (289).
 
USC's Bailey Shoemaker posted the low round of the day at 6-under 67. Arizona's Gile Bite Starkute is one stroke back at 5-under. UH's Kellie Yamane and Wendy Song each shot 4-over 77 and are tied for 43rd place.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are Emiko Sverduk (80, t-53rd), Jordyn Parr (82, 57th), and Monica Johnson (89, 60th).
 
The tournament continues on Tuesday with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start.
