GAME STORY LINES
- UH has won three straight games, including a 80-51 win at Cal Poly on Thursday. UCSB has dropped three straight after a 61-46 loss at UC San Diego.
- UH's 29-point win at Cal Poly was UH's largest-ever margin of victory in a Big West road game, eclipsing its 26-point win at CSUN last year
- It was also just one off the mark for its largest margin ever in any road game, both conference and non-conference (30 at Air Force, 1990) and two off its largest Big West win, both home and away (31 vs. UC Riverside, 2014).
- The Rainbow Warriors are averaging 87.0 ppg and shooting 55% from the field and 48% on threes during its current three-game win streak.
- UH has won five of its last six games and is in sixth in the Big West. The 'Bows are just 1.5 games out of fourth place.
- UCSB has defeated UH four straight times and handed the 'Bows its largest margin of defeat at home this season, 78-61, on Jan. 25. The Gauchos have won six straight in Santa Barbara.
- The Gauchos lead the Big West and rank 11th nationally in field goal percentage (.491). UCSB however was held to just 32% shooting, including 2-of-21 on three-pointers, in its loss at UCSD.
- Following its game vs. UCSB, UH returns home to host fourth-place Long Beach State.
