HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team wrapped up the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Sunday at the UH Tennis Complex The 'Bows completed suspended matches from Friday before beginning their Sunday matches. Hawai'i finished strong winning 11 singles matches and all five doubles matches on the day.

Hawai'i's Nikola Homolkova and Joelle Lanz finished their suspended matches winning in straight sets to lead the 'Bows. Rookie Makeila Nepomuceno battled back to win a third set super tie-breaker over Air Forces's Shivaani Selvan, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-5). UH's Emma Forgac fell in her first set, but won the second and then pulled away in the third set super tie-breaker to down Air Force's Sofia Mavor, 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-3).

Hawai'i swept their doubles matches on Sunday. Allaire Berl and Jazlyn Miyamura concluded their match, defeating AF's Carissa Holguin and Joselyn Limbago, 6-4. UH's Hannah Galindo and Nepomuceno held off the Falcons' Alexis Odom and Maya Michalski by a break, 6-4. Peppi Ramstedt and Sheena Masuda doubled up on Air Forces Arianna Van Hoiuweling and Nadia Kojonroj, 6-3, while both Ana Vilcek and Homolkova and Lanz and Forgac both held on to win by a break. Vilcek and Homolkova defeated Mavor/Selvan, 6-4 and Lanz/Forgac knocked off Carissa Holguin and Joselyn Limbago, 7-5.

In the final singles matches of the tourney, all seven of UH's wins came in straight sets against the Falcons. Nepomuceno downed Van Housling, 6-4, 6-2. Berl edged out Giovanna Sanchirico, 6-1, 7-6 (3). Miyamura coasted past Holguin, 6-3, 6-1, while HOmolkova cruised past Air Force's Odom, 6-1, 6-3. UH's Ramstedt defeated Kojonroj, 6-3, 6-3 while UH's Masuda blanked Limbago in the second set, 6-3, 6-0. Lanz defeated Mavor, 6-4, 6-3.

The Rainbow Wahine Fall Invitationl wraps up the team's Fall schedule. The 'Bows will next host the Rainbow Wahine Spring Invitational on Jan. 3 at the UH Tennis Complex to open their 2025 season.
