LONG BEACH, Calif.—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team wrapped up both the Beach Tennis Fall Tournament and the UH Ānuenue Invitational on Sunday.
 
At Long Beach, In the doubles championship match, UH's duo of Makeilah Nepomuceno and Hanna Galindo's four match win-streak came to an end as they fell short against Cal State Fullerton's Mariia Nikitash, 8-4.
 
In singles, UH won four out of their five consolation matches. Emma Forgac held off UC San Diego's Athena Wardy by a break in both sets, 6-4, 7-5. UH's Peppi Ramstedt powered past UCSD's Katelyn Vu, 6-1, 6-3, and Galindo edged out CSUN's Vito Slis Urdiales with a pair of tie-breaker set wins, 7-6 (0)m 7-6 (5). Hawai'i's Joëlle Lanz and LBSU's Paulina Franco were tied at a set apiece, when Lanz hung on to win the third set super tie-breaker, 11-9 for the victory.
 
In consolation doubles action, UH's Ramstedt and Forgac combined to knock off UCSB's Emma Tutoveanu and Carla Pacot, 6-2 while Allaire Berl and Lonz fell by just a break to LBSU's Thea Jagare and Pamela Badillo, 6-4.
 
Back at home in Honolulu at the UH Ānuenue Invitational, Sheena Masuda and Jazlyn Miyamura won their third-straight match over HPU's Jayanne Palma and Sayda Hernandez, 6-2.
 
UH won both their singles matches with Masuda defeating Lynn Kaden, 6-3, 6-0 and Miyamura defeated Palma in a third set tiebreaker, 6-4, 6-7 (6), 1-0 (4).
