HONOLULU — Coming off a three-match road trip, the University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team returns to SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center on Sunday to face CSUN in the first of three consecutive matches at home. The Rainbow Wahine went 2-1 on their longest trip of the Big West schedule, picking up a four-set win at CSU Bakersfield on Tuesday before returning to Mānoa.

'BOWS NOTES
- UH enters the match tied with Long Beach State for third in the Big West, trailing UC Davis (8-1) and Cal Poly (7-2).
- Sunday's match will be the lone regular-season meeting between the Rainbow Wahine and Matadors.
- Kate Lang and Caylen Alexander both reached career milestones in Tuesday's win over CSUB. Lang distributed 52 assists and became the fifth UH player to reach 4,000 in a career. Alexander put away a match-high 28 kills to surpass 1,000 for her career.
- Alexander moved up to second in the nation in total kills following Tuesday's match with 390 for the season. She remains third in NCAA Division I with 5.20 kills per set. She's third in total points (429.0) and fourth in points per set (5.72). She leads the Big West in all four categories.
- Alexander is the first UH player to post at least 20 kills in 10 matches in a season since Emily Hartong had 12 such matches in 2013.
- Alexander led the UH attack in the first two matches of the road trip and picked up her fourth Big West women's volleyball Offensive Player of the Week award on Monday after posting 38 kills at Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara.
- Lang ranks seventh in the country with 810 total assists. She's 13th among active Division I setters with 4,040 career assists.
- Senior libero Tayli Ikenaga ranks fourth in the Big West with 296 total digs this season to raise her career total to 1,162. She joined the program's career top 10 at Cal Poly and moved up to ninth at UCSB.
- Middle blocker Jacyn Bamis has turned up her offensive production and efficiency over the last three weeks. The junior has 69 kills in 124 attacks and is hitting .435 in UH's last seven matches and averages 3.00 kills per set over that span.
- UH head coach Robyn Ah Mow raised her career Big West record to 99-16 on Tuesday.
- The 'Bows will also face UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 1) and Cal Poly (Nov. 2) on their penultimate homestand of the season.
THE MATCHUP
- CSUN head coach Aquiles Montoya is in his first season leading the Matadors. He was previously associate head coach at Portland State.
- UH has won the last 17 meetings with CSUN and swept both matches last season.
- The Matadors posted their last win in the series on Oct. 10, 2014, a sweep in Northridge, Calif.

- Setter Katie Kolar is tied with UH's Kate Lang for the conference lead with 810 total assists. Kolar is third with 9.88 assists per set.
- Junior Amaris Smith leads CSUN and ranks fifth in the Big West with 3.55 kills per set.
