The Rainbow Warriors enter this week with an 0-2 record after falling to SMU and Arkansas to start the season. Against the Mustangs, UH's
Karl Collins returned to the court after being held out due to injury in the fall. He dropped his first set at No. 3 against 98th-ranked Jerry Barton, but then found his groove in the second set. At one point, Collins was serving for set point at 5-3, but Barton battled his way back for the straight set win, 6-1, 7-5.
Against the Razorbacks, Hawai'i's
Andy Hernandez opened his No. 2 match against Bozo Barurn strong, racing out to a 6-2 win in Set 1. He kept things close in the second, but fell by a break and then came up short in the third set super tiebreaker, 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (5).
