LOS ANGELES — University of Hawai'i senior
Juan Gonzalez placed fourth in the men's platform event as the Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine diving teams continued competition the Bruin Invitational on Saturday at the Spieker Aquatics Center in Los Angeles.
Gonzalez posted a total of 726.15 to finish fourth among the 12 divers in the men's platform final. He was also fourth following the preliminary round with a score of 355.09 and maintained his position in the final. Fellow senior
Mackaby Pennington finished sixth with a total of 623.15.

Isabelle Lombardi and freshman
Ruby Pickron emerged from the field of 65 entrants to earn spots among the 18 finalists in the women's 3-meter event. Lombardi advanced with a score of 256.40 to place 14th in the preliminary round and Pickron posted a score of 251.85 to also move on. Lombardi finished with a total of 513.40 to remain 14
th in the final standings and Pickron came in 18
th with a total of 468.40.
The meet concludes on Sunday with the women's platform and men's 1 meter competitions.
