HONOLULU—University of Hawai'i women's volleyball fans can get an early look at the 2023 Rainbow Wahine who will be hosting its second annual "Open Practice / Green-White Scrimmage" at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center this Saturday, August 19th starting at 1:00 p.m.. Admission is free. Fans must enter through the arena's Security Entrance located on the first floor on the makai side of the arena. There will be no food or drinks available or allowed.
Fans will get a preview of the upcoming 2023 squad which features nine returnees, led by Big West Player of the Year

Hawai'i, who is receiving votes in the pre-season AVCA Coaches' Poll, kicks the season off with a tough pre-season schedule, beginning with the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Wahine Classic (Aug. 25-27). The 'Bows open against Northwestern on Friday at 7:00 p.m.. UH will then face #13 San Diego on Saturday followed by #9 Oregon on Sunday. Four of UH's first five matches will be against ranked teams.
