Men’s Basketball Regular-Season Finale At UCSB To Air On ESPNU

IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced its final scheduled telecast on ESPN linear networks with the Rainbow Warriors slated for their fifth nationally televised game. Hawai'I's regular-season finale at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, March 4, will air on ESPNU. Tipoff for the Rainbow Warriors (20-8, 11-5) and Gauchos (20-7, 11-5) has been moved to 6:00 p.m. PT/4:00 p.m. HT at the Thunderdome.

Roxy Bernstein will be on the call with Corey Williams providing analysis for the broadcast team. The two 20-games winners are currently tied for third in the Big West and still alive in the race for a Big West regular-season title.The Gauchos edged the 'Bows, 65-64, earlier this season on Jan. 26 on a last-second shot in Honolulu.

With the selection, UH will appear on national television in each of its final two weekends of the regular season. This Saturdays' home showdown versus first-place UC Irvine will be on ESPN2. Tipoff for that game is 5:00 p.m. for a Senior Night Whiteout. UH went 3-0 earlier this year in a trio of nationally-televised ESPN games in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic.

ESPN Networks will also broadcast both Big West men's semifinal matchups at the 2023 Hercules Tires Big West Basketball Championships, presented by the Hawaiian Islands on Friday, March 10 and the men's championship game on Saturday, March 11.
