The trip to Las Vegas will conclude a fall season that has already seen two relay records fall and 33 top-10 times in program history.

The Rainbow Warriors set school records in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays at the SMU Invitational held Nov. 16-18 in Dallas. UH's 200 relay team of Mario Surkovic, Jakub Ksiazek, Jordan Meacham and Timothy Gallagher posted a time of 1 minute, 18.27 seconds to break the school record. Two days later, Dietrich Meyer, Meacham, Surkovic and Gallagher lowered UH's 400 free relay record to 2:52.32.

Surkovic also posted the second fastest time in program history in the 200 IM (1:45.02) during the meet and was named the MPSF Male Athlete of the Week following the SMU Invitational. Milan Bukovics also earned the MPSF honor after the USC Invitational in October.

Gallagher qualified for the U.S. Olympic Swimming trials in the 200 meter backstroke in the long-course time-trial at the SMU Invitational.

Rainbow Wahine swimmers hold the top times in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in five women's events this season. Graduate student Cass Treydte leads the conference in the 200 free (1:47.52) and 500 free (4:48.63). Anna Friedrich, also a graduate student, has the top time in the 100 back (53.54). Juniors Kathryn Ivanov and Mando Nguyen own the fastest times in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.73) and 200 breaststroke (2:12.70), respectively.

UH junior Isabella Plantz holds the MPSF's top score in women's 3-meter diving at 287.95 and senior Elma Lund tops the platform diving chart at 241.50. Senior Mackaby Pennington leads the conference at all three men's diving events at 341.35 on 1-meter, 336.9 on 3-meter and 330.45 on platform.

Following the holidays, the Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wahine are scheduled to host dual meets with Fairfield on Jan. 2 and Ohio State on Jan. 5 at Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
