HONOLULU — Six members of the University of Hawai'i women's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team on Tuesday in recognition for their work on the field and in the classroom.

Sophie Augustin, sophomore forward
Amber Gilbert, junior defender
Jacey Jicha, junior forward
Brynn Mitchell, sophomore defender
Zoe Park and sophomore forward
Cate Sheahan represented the Rainbow Wahine on NCAA Division I list.
The academic qualification for the Academic All-District teams is a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. Nominated student-athletes must have participated in at least 90% of the season's games or started in 66% of the games.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
This year's Academic All-District selections raise the Rainbow Wahine soccer program's all-time total to 20.
Sophie Augustin, senior
• Majoring in Political Science
• Started all 16 games in goal and led the team in minutes played
• Posted 59 saves for the season
Amber Gilbert, sophomore
• Majoring in Kinesiology
• Started all 16 games at forward
• Voted to the All-Big West first team
• Led the team and tied for third in the Big West with seven goals
Jacey Jicha, junior
• Majoring in Kinesiology
• Started all 16 games on the back line
• Voted to the All-Big West second team
• Led UH field players with 1,311 minutes, averaging nearly 82 minutes
Brynn Mitchell, junior
• Majoring in Psychology
• Played in all 16 games and started the last 13
• Finished third on the team with four goals
Zoe Park, sophomore
• Majoring in Kinesiology
• Started all 16 games and was second among field players with 1,305 minutes (81.5 per game)
• Scored her first career goal against Cal State Fullerton
Cate Sheahan, sophomore
• Majoring in Kinesiology
• Played in all 16 games and started nine
• Scored three goals and led the team with five assists
