HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team continued hosting the UH Ānuenue Invitational on Thursday night. On Day 4 of the invitational, the Rainbow Wahine swept their doubles matches and won four of the singles matches at the UH Tennis Complex.

The Hawai'i duo of Ana Vilcek and Sheena Masuda defeated HPU's Leonie Muller and Lynn Kader, 6-2 and Nelly Knezkova and Nikola Homolkova knocked off the Sharks' Jayanne Palma and Vera Markovic by the identical 6-2 score. UH's Anna Kern and Joelle Lanz held off HPU's Abi Wild and Sara Hejtmankova by a break, 6-4.

In singles, Lanz, Masuda, Homolkova and Vilcek all notched wins. Lanz nearly shutout Markovic, 6-1, 6-0 to start things off. Homolkova swept Wild, 6-2, -6-2. Hawai'i's Masuda doubled up on HPU's Palma, 6-3, 6-3 while Vilcek took on teammate Knezkova. Vilcek trailed 0-4 to start the first set, but Knezkova held on to edge out Vilcek in two sets, 7-6 (5), 6-2.

The UH Ānuenue Invitational concludes on Friday, Oct. 13 at the UH Tennis Complex with matches starting at 3:30 p.m. HT.
