COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho –
Hyeonji Kang shot a 2-under 69 to pace the University of Hawai'i women's golf team on the second day of the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Monday at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course.
The sophomore from Jeju, South Korea posted one eagle and five birdies on her round including three birdies in her final four holes. Her eagle on No. 1 and birdie on No. 3, her fourth and sixth holes of the day, respectively, put her at 4-under par.
She currently sits at 1-over 143 for the tournament and tied for 15
th place heading into Tuesday's final round.
Cal State Fullerton's Davina Xanh carded a 5-under 66 on Monday and holds the individual lead at 6-under for the tournament. As a team, Sacramento State (563) had a seven-stroke lead over Oral Roberts (570).

Mayumi Umezu posted her second straight 2-over 73 and is tied for 29
th at 4-over 146. Freshman
Wendy Song is tied for 81
st at 155 after a second round 78 while sophomore
Monica Johnson sits in 94
th place at 162. Sophomore
Ting-Yu Liu was forced to withdraw.
The tournament concludes with Round 3 on Tuesday with an 8:00 a.m. PT shotgun start.
