LA QUINTA, Calif. – University of Hawai'i freshman Pierce Braun finished in a tie for 10^th place following Tuesday's final round of the Big West Championship at the La Quinta Country Club.
 
The Phoenix, Ariz., native carded a final round even-par 72 to finish 1-over 217 for the tournament. UC Davis' Thomas Huchison captured medalist honors at 13-under 203 while the Aggies held off Long Beach State for the team title.
 
As a team, the Rainbow Warriors placed ninth at 904 after a final round 304.
 
Also competing for Hawai'i were Tyler Ogawa (228; 34^th), Atsuya Oishi (229; t-35^th), Isaiah Kanno (230; 37^th), and Zachary Sagayaga (240; 40^th).
 
The Big West Championship closed out the 2021-22 season for the Rainbow Warriors.
