HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (8-7, 5-2 Big West) return home to start its final homestand with a Big West match against UC Irvine (7-10, 1-3 BWC) on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the UH Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Wahine who left the Islands riding a seven-match win streak the Rainbow Wahine went 0-4 on a tough roadtrip against three ranked teams plus the undefeated league leader. Hawai'i is looking to get back on the winning track as they play their final two home matches.
Hawai'i went 4-21 in their four-match roadtrip in a span of seven days. The 'Bows fell at #17 Stanford, #25 UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, and #21 USC.

Gitte Heynemans and
Tal Talya Zandberg lead the Rainbow Wahine, both coming into this week with identical 10-6 singles records. Heynemans primarily has played at No. 5, while Zandberg usually plays at No. 4. Léa Romain is right behind with a 9-7 overall record splitting time between playing at No. 1 and No. 2.
