LAST TIME OUT...The Rainbow Warriors' last match was on the road at UC Irvine this past Sunday, April 24, 2022. The Anteaters nearly shut out the 'Bows, winning, 4-1. Only UH's Guillaume Tattevin was able to scratch out a win for the 'Bows.

NEWS & NOTES
  • The Rainbow Warriors enter the 2022 Big West Championships with an 11-5 overall record and a 4-2 Big West record. It is the first time that Hawai'i has notched double-digits wins since UH recorded a 12-8 overall record in 2010.
  • Since taking over the UH men's tennis program in 2020, head coach Joël Kusnierz has not had a losing season. He led the Rainbow Warriors to a 9-6 mark in the COVID-shortened 2020 season. Last year, the 'Bows finished with a 5-4 recording a pared down schedule. This season, he has led UH to an 11-5 record for a career record of 25-15.
  • After winning eight of their first nine matches this season, the Rainbow Warriors finished the season with a 3-4 record in the last seven games--during which UH played four matches against ranked teams (#6 Cal Poly; #57 UC Santa Barbara, and two at #48 UCLA.
  • 34th-ranked Andre Ilagan enters the BWC tournament with an 8-3 dual match singles record and a team-best 9-2 doubles record primarily with partner Karl Collins whom together have gone 8-1. In singles and doubles, Ilagan has played all of UH's matches at the No. 1 slot for both.
  • UH rookie Guillaume Tattevin leads Hawai'i with a team-best 12-2 singles record. Although he has played at four different positions in the lineup at No. 3, 4, 5, and 6, he has primarily appeared on the No. 4 (5-2) and No. 5 (5-0) courts.
  • UH's lone senior, Blaz Seric, is currently 6-5 in singles and 7-4 in doubles--5-2 with partner Kilian Maitre all on the No. 3 court.
