Harry Rhouliadeff Signed

Men's Basketball

Rainbow Warriors Ink Australian Forward

HONOLULU -- University of Hawaii men's basketball coach Eran Ganot announced the signing of Aussie standout Harry Rouhliadeff to a national letter of intent. Rouhliadeff will arrive in Manoa this summer with four years of eligibility.

Rouhliadeff (ROO-lee-ah-def) is a 6-9, 220-pound forward from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He graduated from Villanova College this past December and has been an amateur player with the Southern Districts Spartans of Australia's National Basketball League 1, a developmental league for the NBL. He has also been training with the NBL's Brisbane Bullets.

Last year he was a key player for the Queensland squad that captured the 2021 Australia U20 Nationals. He's currently preparing with that same squad in their quest to repeat as 2022 champions in the coming month.

"Harry is a skilled forward who can shoot, play off the dribble and finish above and around the rim in multiple ways," Ganot said. "When you add his rebounding and basketball IQ, we feel he'll be a multi-positional player for years to come. His coaches absolutely love him for his work ethic and team-first attitude and his best basketball is ahead of him. We're excited to have Harry join our 'ohana and continue our successful pipeline of Australian players."

Rouhliadeff, whose father spent his early years in Hawai'i, got his first glimpse of the UH program as a teenager during the Rainbow Warriors 2018 Australia Exhibition Tour.
