HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i beach volleyball team returns home to host the OUTRIGGER Queen's Cup, March 10-12, at Queen's Beach. 
 
Joining the No. 9 BeachBows are Nebraska, UC Davis, and nationally-ranked squads TCU (3) and Cal (10). The team's will play a round-robin format all-day Thursday and Friday morning before competing in a championship bracket on Saturday.

UH (6-3) is coming off a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Cactus Classic in Tucson, Ariz., highlighted by three sweeps and a 4-1 win over No. 13 Arizona.

UH Pairs To Watch: Ilihia Huddleston and Sarah Penner are a team-best 7-2 this year while playing at the No. 4 court...Anna Maidment and Sofia Russo are 6-1 at the No. 5 flight and have won five straight matches, including a win over the No. 5 pairs of second-ranked UCLA...Kaylee Glagau and Brooke Van Sickle are the reigning Big West Pair of the Week after going a perfect 4-0 at the Cactus Classic...the duo is 6-3 this year while playing at the top of the UH lineup.
 
All-Time Series Records: UH is 4-0 against UC Davis, including three wins last season...the teams will also meet again at the Big West Challenge in Long Beach in late March…UH is a perfect 12-0 against Nebraska with all but one of the wins coming in Honolulu…this will be the first meeting between the teams since 2019…the 'Bows are 3-1 all-time against California…all three wins have come in Honolulu with the last pair of wins coming in Honolulu in 2019…the Bears beat UH 4-1 on the campus of UC Davis last year…UH and TCU will meet for the sixth time and the first time since 2019…the team's met five straight years (2015-19) with UH winning all five meetings, four of them coming on neutral courts.
 
Versus Unranked Squads: UH is 103-1 (.990) all-time  vs unranked squads, including 4-0 this year…the BeachBows have won 102 straight matches against unranked opponents dating back to 2013 when AVCA rankings began…the team's only loss against an unranked opponent came to Loyola Marymount, 3-2, on March 23, 2013, at the USAV Beach Collegiate Challenge at Hermosa Beach, Calif.
