The University of Hawai'i athletics department will provide new insight into the 2022 Rainbow Warriors team and their interest off the gridiron during spring camp. Several student-athletes will be featured with a question and answer series from the start of the camp in late March till the end in late April. Solo Turner: Car, for sure.

ST: Umm… I'd keep Twitter and get rid of the rest.

 

Q: Pineapple on pizza, yes or no, and why?
ST: No! No! Pepperoni only! 

 

Q: Xbox or Playstation? 
ST: Playstation, that's easy.

 

Q: Go to favorite video game of all time?
ST: I have to say Minecraft, take it way back to when I was a kid. 

 

Q: Funniest teammate?
ST: I'd say Vonn Killins

 

Q: Chill at home or relax at the beach? 
ST: Oh, I'm chilling at home. I'm a homebody. 

 

Q: When you go to the beach, what is your must-have item?
ST: Have to be some sunglasses; I have to look cool. 

 

Q: Dream vacation? 
ST: Ohh, good question. I'll say the mountains, probably head to Denver, Colorado. 

 

Q: Hidden talent?-
ST: I'm actually really good with a yo-yo. I'm good with the kind that does a dead stop at the bottom. I have a bag of tricks up my sleeve. 

 

Q: What is your go-to flavor of shave ice?
ST: Strawberry.

 

Q: Favorite kind of food on the island?
ST: I'm eggs and rice kind of guy.

 

Q: Are you superstitious? If so, how?
ST: A tad. I have a game day ritual, where I'm the first with my pads on in the locker room. The night before a game, I lay out all my clothes. I'm really locked in on game day, and I won't make eye contact with anyone.
