HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (4-3, 3-0 Big West) continues their seven match home stand as they host a pair of matches against Bucknell (9-3, 0-0 Patriot). The Rainbow Wahine will battle the Bison on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17. First serve for both matches is slated for 11:00 a.m. at the UH Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Wahine enter this week on a three-match win streak. The matches against Bucknell are the fourth and fifth of UH's seven-match home stand.

Gitte Heynemans and
Tal Talya Zandberg steady play has helped lead UH to its recent win streak. Heynemans is 6-3 overall and 5-1 in dual matches, primarily playing on the No. 5 court. She has dropped only two sets while recorded five-straight wins. Zandberg has locked down the No. 4 slot, losing just one set while winning her last five consecutive matches. Three other Rainbow Wahine have four wins under their belts -
Madison Kim, Lea Romain, and
Ana Vilcek.
The Bison swept Chaminade, 4-0 earlier this week. Overall, Bucknell has three players with 10 wins or more. Whitney King has a team-best 16-3 overal record and a 8-2 record in dual matches. Daniela Bellini is 10-8 overall and 5-4 playing at No. 1 while Anna Lajos hs been dominant with a 15-1 overall mark and 10-1 playing at No. 4 and No. 5.
