• UH faces Cal State Fullerton in the Big West Championships semifinals.
• The teams met just once this year, a 72-55 home win by UH on Feb. 12. The teams were slated to play on Jan. 6 in Fullerton but that match-up was canceled due to COVID.
• UH held the Titans to just 32 percent shooting in that win and limited E.J. Anosike to just four points on 2-of-10 shooting.
• UH makes its third appearance in the tourney semifinals and first in six years.
• The 'Bows 68-67 quarterfinal win over UC Riverside was its first win in the BWT since beating Long Beach State in the 2016 finals.
• UH had previously been bounced from the quarterfinals four straight times.
• The 'Bows enter the game having won four of its last five games.
• UH, which is 2-5 all-time as a lower seed in the BWT, seeks its third-ever appearance in the BWT finals and its first since 2016.
