HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (4-3, 3-0 Big West) won its third-straight match with a 4-0 sweep over Army West Point (14-6, 0-0 Patriot) on Thursday afternoon at the UH Tennis Complex.
 
UH won the first two doubles matches to finish to capture the first point. UH's No. 2 duo of Tal Talya Zandberg and Ana Vilcek defeated Elizabeth Gilbert and Paulina Feoli, 6-2, while on the No. 3 court, Gitte Heynemans and Nidhi Surapaneni knocked off Carolyn Ahn and Justine Dondonay, 6-3.
 
In singles, Hawai'i made quick work, winning all their matches over powering the Black Knights in straight sets with the bottom of the lineup coming through for the win. UH's No. 6 Heynemans cruised past Anna Laureiro, 6-2, 6-0. Madison Kim followed with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Feoli at No. 5. UH's Zandberg then clinched the match with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win over Jenna Sabile at No. 4.
 
The Rainbow Wahine continue their seven-match homestand with two matches against Bucknell. UH will take on the Bison on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17 at the UH Tennis Complex. First serve on both days is at 11:00 a.m.
