HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's beach volleyball team wraps up its fall season by hosting rival UCLA in exhibition pairs action, Nov. 25-26, at Queen's Beach. Admission is free.
After playing its two fall previous fall events on the mainland, UH returns to Honolulu as fans will get the chance to get their first in-person glimpse of the 2023 squad when it hosts the Bruins in some post-Thanksgiving competition. The teams will play on Friday, Nov. 25 beginning at 1 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 26 starting at 9 a.m.
The weekend will exclusively feature pairs competitions as the team's will mix up matchups throughout the day. The Bruins finished third in last season's final AVCA Poll. UH, meanwhile, returned to the NCAAs last year after a one-year hiatus. The BeachBows return 15 players from the 2022 roster, while welcoming eight newcomers. UH's regular-season, featuring dual match events, will officially begin in late February.
