No. 24 Ilagan Falls in Three Sets at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla.--The run for University of Hawai'i men's tennis player, Andre Ilagan came to a halt at the ITA All-American Championships. The 24th-ranked Ilagan was upset in three sets in the Round of 16 early on Friday morning at the MIchael D. Case Tennis Courts in Tulsa, Okla..

Ilagan captured the first set, but was unable to keep pace as North Carolina's Ryan Seegerman held Ilagan off for the final two frames for the 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win. Seegerman advances to the quarterfinals of the national tournament on Saturday. Ilagan is now 3-2 in singles this fall.

The entire Rainbow Warrior team will next compete in Part 1 of the UH-HPU Invitational from Oct. 15-16 in Honolulu at the UH Tennis Complex.
