ON THE PITCH
  • The current road trip has not been friendly to the Rainbow Wahine, picking up losses at Gonzaga and Washington State. On the trip, UH has been outscored 12-0.
  • Thursday's match with Gonzaga started as the season's first two matches with North Texas and South Dakota State. The 'Bows and Zags duked it out in a defensive battle for the first 45 minutes, as UH held the home squad to one goal. The following 45 minutes were all Gonzaga as they scored four goals against UH.
  • Sunday's match mirrored the second half of Thursday's struggle, as the Cougars scored three goals in the opening 10 minutes for an early lead. While UH tried various combinations to hold WSU and put points on the board, it was no avail, as the Cougars added four more goals in the second half.
  • Combined over the two previous games, UH has been outshot 53-10.
  • The current stretch of four matches is the longest UH has gone to start a season without a goal.
  • Entering the match Idaho, historically, UH holds the upper hand with a 7-3 record against the Vandals. The last match between the two squads was in Moscow on September 1, 2017, with UH coming up short, 1-0. Since 2010, Idaho has swayed the numbers back in their favor, winning three of the last four matchups.
  • Even though the 'Bows are currently on a scoring drought, the potential for a quick turnaround is there with veteran leaders. In 2019, forwards Kayla Ryan and Kelci Sumida led the scoring attack with a combined 12 goals, while midfielder Eliza Ammendolia added a goal and four assists.

WELCOME NEWBIES
Two true freshmen grabbing some attention so far for the 'Bows have been defenders Carley Park and Jacey Jicha. The duo is currently averaging around 56 minutes per match. The only newcomer averaging more minutes is freshman forward Krista Peterson at 62 minutes per match.
