SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—The Battle in the Bay Classic continued action on Day 3 in San Francisco, Calif. at the California Tennis Club on Friday.
 
In doubles, UH's Andre Ilagan and Axel Labrunie competed in the back draw of the qualifying doubles. The Rainbow Warriors came up short against Michigan's Nick Beaty and Gavin Young, 8-3.
 
Labrunie fell in his qualifying singles consolation match against San Diego's Will Davies, 6-4, 6-2.
 
The Battle in the Bay Classic continues through Sunday.
