HONOLULU - The No. 6 University of Hawai'i water polo team remained undefeated at home with the win against No. 9 UC Davis 7-4 on Senior Day. The Rainbow Wahine (9-1, 3-1 Big West) completed the regular season with a nine game win streak and as Big West regular season champions.

Carmen Baringo came out firing and scored the first goal of the game 1:11 seconds into the game. The Aggies retaliated tying the score exactly 1:11 later.
UC Davis outscored the 'Bows in the second period 3-2 to lead 4-3 at halftime, but that did not stop freshmen
Morgan Rios scoring her first career goal and
Lot Stertefeld also adding her name to the scoresheet.
The Rainbow Wahine were solid on defense in the third period, holding the Aggies scorless in the frame. A 3-0 run in the third and goal in the fourth quarter helped finish off the game and maintain the undefeated home schedule.
Stertefeld led the team in scoring with a pair of goals. Goalie
Molly DiLalla completed the game with six blocks.
Graduates Mahairi Nurthen and
Danielle Brown recorded playing time and ended their final regular season in the pool. Nurthen had one shot attempt while Brown had one block. Baringo finished the day with one goal and four steals.
The Big West regular season champions will next play in the Big West Conference Championship May 1-2 in San Diego, California.
