HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will unveil its 2021 NCAA Championship banner Wednesday, Jan. 5 in the season-opener against Loyola-Chicago. First serve is 7:00 p.m. at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
 
The first 5,000 will receive a commemorative team photo while the first 2,500 will also receive a rally towel, which is designed after the national championship banner. In addition, the championship trophy will be on display on the concourse near Gate A for photo opportunities. Former Warrior Colton Cowell will be in attendance.
 
The banner unveiling will occur prior to first serve. The program's first official national championship banner will hang in the rafters along with four women's volleyball national championship banners. The Rainbow Warriors captured the title with a straight set win over BYU last May in Columbus, Ohio.
 
Season tickets for the 2022 campaign are currently on sale. Individual match tickets go on sale Monday, Jan. 3 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.etickethawaii.com or at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
 
Turnstile gates open on Jan. 5 at 5:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early as everyone will be required to complete the LumiSight check-in prior to entering SimpliFi Arena. The LumiSight UH app is available free on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store as well as on the LumiSight UH website (https://uh.campus.lumisight.com) for those without access to a mobile device. Those who do not use the app will be required to bring their vaccination card or negative test and complete a health questionnaire.
 
All spectators are required to wear masks at all times inside SimpliFi Arena except when actively eating or drinking. In addition, only clear bags (12"x12") are permitted inside the arena.
